Gretchen

Gretchen was added to the Continental Meadows family in January 2022, and what an addition she has been! Gretchen is a force of personality! She is a very, very sweet dog who loves to be pet and cuddled. She is medium energy, but she can be hyped up to participate in many different training activities. Gretchen is quite vocal, never missing opportunities to make her thoughts heard. She is whip smart and a real joy to train. Right now Gretchen is currently training and competing in agility and she has really thrived on the training process. Everyone who meets Gretchen is charmed by her sweet and kind temperament. . Gretchen made her grooming contest debut in 2023 with Marcia of Toronto. Gretchen proved her calm, friendly and steady temperament in the chaotic environment of a grooming show with hundreds of people and many many dogs! Marcia raved about how still Gretchen stood for the entire grooming process despite the environment. Marcia was able to turn out a beautiful groom and she won the Intermediate Poodle class with Gretchen and then went on to win Best Intermediate in Show!
